The Drummer Lite is the Drummer’s little brother. Like its brother, it is a wireless interface to play Drums with your computer but it is not a MIDI interface. The Drummer Lite allows you to play drums without the need to use any DAW-Digital Audio Workstation. In fact, the Drummer Lite servers simply plays wave files that can be substituted by the user.

The Drummer is devoted to a public of casual players and gamers who find difficult using DAW for professional music.

System Requirements. Mac OS X or Windows XP, 512 MB RAM, Java 1.5 or Processing 1.0, a WIFI enabled computer and (optionally) a router. Drummer (differently from the Lite version) needs also a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) such as Logic or Cubase.

* Note for Win XP users: Drummer uses a 3rd party MIDI library that might cause some issues, depending on your system configurations. We recommend Drummer Win XP for advanced users, who perhaps have no problem recompiling the code from the source.
